2015 will be our 15th visit to this excellent 4* hotel in the heart of the City of London. It is immensely popular and now is invariably the first of the hotels to fill. It lies almost on the marathon route – not once but twice so is absolutely ideal for spectating. The first time is when the runners cross Tower Bridge at about half way – all of 5 mins walk away and again at 22/23 miles when they come behind the hotel (alongside the Tower of London) – just 200m away!

There are so many interesting sights within a short distance – be that the Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Millennium Bridge, Tate Modern and of course, Tower Bridge itself.

Trip Advisor“This hotel is within a very short walk of Tower Hill tube and is the perfect location for visiting the Tower of London and is a short journey to just about any of London's many attractions. Our room was modern, of decent size and immaculately clean. Air con is standard - and works well - and the room has all of the little touches that most of us will ever need. We arrived a little early for our 2 night stay and were able to check in without a problem, and the front of house team could not have been more helpful and accommodating then, or throughout our stay”.   (August 2014)

In 2015 WRP Tours will be using four 4 star Novotel hotels in central London. The rates shown below are per adult based upon dual occupancy (DO) and includes:

* Bed and full English breakfast; the Friday and Saturday tours; executive coach travel to the start for runners and all supporters; return spectator coach service; post-race showers; massage facilities and refreshments plus resident experienced WRP marathon staff from Friday to Monday inclusive.

Single occupancy rates (SO) are also shown.

Novatel Waterloo 1 Night 2 Nights 3 Nights
Dual Occupancy n/a £229 £284
Single Occupancy n/a £381 £482

Children Aged 4 – 16 years are charged a single fee of £25.00 regardless of nights stayed. Under 4 years go free.

Triple adult

All the hotels accept a triple room occupancy (1 x Double + 1 x sofa bed) but none offer three single beds.
Including full English breakfast, coach to the start and post-race facilities the additional charge for the
third person is £70 plus £25 per night stayed.
Triple rooms may both eliminate the need for a higher priced single occupancy and, if the overall cost is divided three ways, reduces the amount paid by the other two persons.

Additional nights

Guests can add one or more additional nights to the 3 night package rate at the Novotel hotels. These are always of advantage to our
guests arriving from overseas though the rates vary considerably due to location. The best rates this year are at Novotel London West.

One night rooms

Please note that the number of one night rooms allowed is quite limited.

Car Parking

Pre-bookable, secure underground parking on site.
* Novotel Waterloo: £15 per night; Congestion Charge fees may be payable depending upon time of arrival/departure.
* Novotel London West: £22 for 1 night; £38 for 2 nights; £ 56 for 3 nights. Not in Congestion Charge area but that fee may be payable if you enter the area to get to the hotel.

Coach from Bristol: return Fare £35 adult, £22 child if under 16 years of age.

WRP Discount

These are issued at the hotel and offer 15% off food plus drink purchased at any time in all Novotel hotels except at Novotel Waterloo where the discount is 10%.

Bank Charges

There are no charges for the use of debit cards. However, due to new bank regulations all cheques will now incur a £1.00 surcharge on all transactions and credit cards will incur a surcharge of 3%.
